About
Diogo Saddock is a music researcher, DJ, percussionist, and event producer. Born and raised in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, he currently lives in Ponta Negra, Maricá (RJ).
A DJ for over 15 years and a percussionist for two decades, music is his greatest passion and field of research. In his sets, he dedicates himself to sound curation, prioritizing high-quality transitions and mixes that lead the audience on true musical journeys.
He explores different strands of Brazilian and world music, with 'forró pé de serra' being one of his specialties.
He is the producer and creator of the Forró dos Amigos RJ and Forró da Norte projects, initiatives that for over 15 years have strengthened and disseminated Northeastern culture in the suburbs and Northern Zone of Rio de Janeiro. In Maricá, he conceived and produced the Viva Forró project, which was supported by a public cultural incentive program.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with important names in the 'forró pé de serra' scene, such as Raiz do Sana, Ó do Forró, Estopim, João de Barro, Pimenta do Reino, Iris Pontal, Lamparão, Duka Santos, Potiguá, Alvorada, Rapacuia, and Samburá, among others.
